Trading firm bags awards for fifth consecutive year

A BROKERAGE firm has been honoured by Bursa Malaysia Bhd at the Bursa Excellence Awards 2021.

Phillip Futures, a member of the PhillipCapital Group, received three awards under the Best Derivatives Trading Participants category for the fifth year consecutively.

Themed “Driving Possibilities, Elevating Excellence”, the event was to honour and recognise last year’s top performing brokers and market intermediaries.

Phillip Futures was placed first runner-up in the following awards: Best Overall Derivatives Trading Participant, Best Retail Derivatives Trading Participant and Best Institutional Derivatives Trading Participant.

“We would like to extend our gratitude for the unwavering support from our clients and partners. And we will continue to provide the best service to capital market through consistent innovation,” Phillip Futures Sdn Bhd executive director Lam Choon Jin said.

He said Phillip Futures’ trading platform, Phillip Nova, had brought much convenience to the trading community and has a rapid growing number of users.

Phillip Nova allows investors to access both local and foreign futures market through desktop, mobile and tablet.

In its effort to attract more investors to expand the capital market, Phillip Futures offers educational webinars and workshops regularly.

Content is also delivered through its social media platforms.

Last December, PhillipCapital Group announced its collaboration with Alliance Investment Bank Bhd to offer stockbroking services in Malaysia.

The collaboration will allow Phillip Futures to expand its futures, options and contract for difference (CFDs) broking services to include Stocks and Exchange Traded Funds to the capital market.

Having contributed to the capital market community for the past 14 years, Phillip Futures has a presence in Penang, Selangor, Melaka, Johor, Sarawak (Kuching and Sibu) and Sabah (Kota Kinabalu).

Its headquarters is in Kuala Lumpur.
