A SELANGOR executive councillor is piloting the concept of a “single mothers club” in her constituency, in hopes of being able to replicate the same concept across all 56 state constituencies in Selangor.
“I started this two months ago. A group of single mothers were invited to a house as a safe space for them to stay, express themselves and share about their experiences and challenges,” said Selangor public health, unity, women empowerment and family committee chairman Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud.
