Timely school aid for 200 needy families

TWO hundred poor families received a timely boost from the Malaysia Hindudharma Mamandram Penang branch which gave vouchers, school uniforms and stationery for the new school year that is less than a month away. Single mother P. Subashini, 36, thanked the non-governmental organisation for its kind gesture.

“The school break has just begun and I have been planning to buy my son a new uniform for the new school year.
