THE Kumbh Mela festival in India has provided the perfect setting for the conceptualisation of a coffee-table book.

Recognised as the largest congregation of people at a religious festival, the event inspired the book titled The Kumbha Mela, Prayagraj, Joined in Dance: A Malaysia-India Bi-Lateral Experience, which features dancers of Sutra Dance Theatre and Sutra Dance Outreach Programme at the 2019 Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India.
