Samsung Galaxy S21’s latest model — the Galaxy S21 FE — aims to make people fall head over heels with it.

The newest addition rides on the brand’s large fan base and their collective input across focus groups, global surveys and feedback sessions for a truly refined smartphone.

Combining Galaxy S21 premium features in a well-rounded package, this Fan Edition (FE) empowers its followers to explore and express themselves.

It was introduced in Malaysia on Jan 5 at Tiffin At The Yard in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur amid much fanfare.

Samsung users are the backbone of the FE — the company values the importance of meeting their needs and it is from here that world-class innovation gets packed with fan-favourite features.

The FE edition is a unique two-way initiative between fans and the brand. It sports an active platform for key voices to directly influence the outcome of a product.

In turn, this creates a dynamic environment of constant sharing and improvements, which ensures each device is compatible with the diversity of Samsung fans worldwide.

In his introduction, Samsung Malaysia Electronics Product Marketing, IT & Mobile Business head Luke Au said the Galaxy S21 FE would give fans what they really want.

“All the innovations that we love are thoughtfully packaged into the Galaxy S21 FE, from its distinctive design and colour palette to epic camera experience, amazing display and powerful performance made possible by a 5nm intelligent chipset and an all-day intelligent battery,” he said.

Through feedback, many Samsung users place power and display as critical in today’s 24/7 world.

In response, the Galaxy S21 FE is equipped with the brand’s latest, super-fast 5nm 64-bit octa-core processor — similar to the S21 series, with an 8GB RAM.

Dedicated gamers and streamers will appreciate the phone’s crisp, high-quality graphics and picture quality boosted by its 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and top resolution on a 6.4-inch Amoled 2X display.

The Galaxy S21 FE 5G’s new 240Hz touch response rate aims to elevate gameplay to new heights with lightning-fast reaction capabilities.

On-the-go Galaxy users also listed long-lasting batteries as top priority, so the Galaxy S21 FE 5G is outfitted with an all-day battery that is reinforced with 25W super-fast charging capabilities.

Users expect the phone to juice up to more than 50% in just 30 minutes, and to last from work to home and more.

Like the Galaxy S21 range, which has an industry-leading camera, the FE is kitted with the same pro-grade set-up to capture more vivid images.

Photography amateurs and pros alike can easily edit, post and share eye-catching content.

It also includes an improved night mode setting.

Samsung claims that users can also enhance low-light shots and capture clear photos in the darkest conditions.

For Gen Z who love taking selfies, the Galaxy S21 FE snaps high-quality shots with its advanced 32MP front camera, which is then enhanced by Al Face Restoration capabilities, offering Samsung’s best selfie experience yet.

Users can also catch reactions on both ends using Dual Recording, as the camera captures views from both the front and rear lenses at the same time.

The Galaxy S21 FE is powered by Android 12 and is 5G-enabled.

It was open for pre-order from Jan 6 at Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung authorised partners and its online store.

Today is the last day to pre-order this smartphone.

It comes in four colours — graphite, olive, lavender and white — and retails at RM3,099 for the 256GB internal storage and RM2,899 for the 128GB.

All pre-orders come with a RM350 e-voucher plus a SamsungCare+ coverage against accidental and liquid damage worth RM220 a year.

Trade-ins and overtrade options are also available at

Galaxy S21 FE customers will also receive a 30% discount on accessories and a 20% discount on wearables and hearables.

These offers are available on the Samsung Malaysia Online Store, Samsung Experience Store and any of its authorised partners from Jan 6 to Feb 28.
