Assemblyman: Sibu and Bintulu airports in urgent need of upgrades

THe government has been urged to upgrade the facilities at Sibu Airport.Dudong assemblyman Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said he met Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong and Malaysia Airport Holdings Bhd (MAHB) last December to highlight maintenance issues at Sibu and Bintulu airports.

In a statement, Tiong said he told the ministry that both airports were in urgent need of upgrades.
