RUBBER boots, water hoses and large rubbish bags are some of the items in high demand at hardware stores in Taman Sri Muda, Shah Alam as residents start cleaning after floodwaters receded.

A steady stream of customers — ranging from volunteers of non-governmental organisations to houseowners — were seen buying cleaning equipment at ASL Engineering Hardware Sdn Bhd along Jalan Dermawan 25/89.
