THE street food scene in Penang is blooming once again with hawkers and food trucks returning in force to popular eat-out spots in George Town.

At the Carnarvon Street and Walk@Chowrasta programme, held by Penang Island City Council’s (MBPP) to mark Hawkers and Petty Traders Day 2021 recently, over 20 hawkers and food trucks lined the streets.
