KULAI Municipal Council (MPKu) is encouraging developers to include a hawker centre that is easily accessible to the public in their development plans before seeking approval for their projects.
MPKu councillor Tan Kheng Huang said this was one of the long-term solutions in addressing the issue of roadside stalls, which had mushroomed since the Covid-19 pandemic and movement control order started in March last year.
