CONSUMER electronics retailer Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd has bolstered its brand with the opening of Grand Senheng Elite in SS2, Petaling Jaya on Nov 11.

The event saw customers from all over town lining up to enter the local retailer’s largest flagship store to date.

The launch was kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Senheng executive chairman Lim Kim Heng and president Lim Kim Chieng, as well as Senheng’s long-standing partners Electrolux, Haier, Huawei, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, Oppo and Xiaomi.

Also present were their partners from Aeon Credit Service and AIG Malaysia.

This was followed by an auspicious lion dance to usher in good luck and good fortune for the newly opened store.

“It’s been so long since we have had any physical celebrations. For those of us working in retail, we understand the need for that human connection — that’s our key to building strong connections with our customers,” said Kim Heng.

“I’m proud to announce that after over three decades, we are stronger than ever, thanks to our quick adoption of technology and innovation in improving customer experience.

“This flagship store is a new experience centre for all our customers, especially our PlusOne members, as we continue to build our brand,” he added.

To mark the opening of its latest store, Senheng is offering customers cashback rewards with their purchases using their S-Coin by signing up for their PlusOne membership as well.

Members using Senheng’s mobile application can also cash in on the opening celebration to “book and purchase” small appliances for RM20.Grand Senheng Elite focuses on the consumer’s purchasing journey by making it as convenient and as seamless as possible through carefully curated displays in its contemporary retail space of 1300.6sq m across four floors.

For the benefit of customers, Grand Senheng Elite employs Armarior — a home customisation expert that can help houseowners to decide on which appliances to fit in their homes, and how.

“We know that sometimes when customers come in, having too many different displays on various types of appliances can be overwhelming.

“This tailored Elite store makes it easier for customers to find what they want to complete their homes,” said Kim Chieng
