The items were presented at The Star Pitt St in Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling in George Town, Penang, yesterday.

From March last year to August this year, the society’s Penang branch had donated 487,175 N95 face masks, 686,175 sets of personal protective wear, 158,503 sets of vegetarian meals and 88,652 sets of welfare aid to the relevant authorities in battling the Covid-19 pandemic.

The society also donated 557 intensive care unit beds, 75 units of respirators and 170 units of high-flow nasal cannula to further support the healthcare system.
