Ban at eateries showing effect with more compliance than rare cases of smoking

AFTER nearly three years since smoking is prohibited at eateries and restaurants, food operators and diners are seeing better awareness among smokers.

At Medan Renong food court at the Esplanade in Penang, its hawkers association assistant secretary Rais Ahmad Mohd Hussain said most of the diners there had adhered to the no-smoking ruling.
