ENTOPIA by Penang Butterfly Farm in Teluk Bahang will be awakening from its seven- month hibernation from Nov 18.

The tropical sanctuary for butterflies and myriad of other insects, arachnids and reptiles will be opened to fully vaccinated visitors from 9am to 6pm daily, except Wednesdays when it is closed.

Some of the facilities may be temporarily closed until further notice and those interested are encouraged to check out Entopia’s official website (www.entopia.com) for the latest updates.

The management, in a press release, said the visitor capacity would be limited to 350 people at any one time to ensure adequate space for physical distancing.

“We’d like to advise the public to purchase their tickets and pre-book their visitation slots on our website. To thank all our visitors for their continued support, we will be offering a discount of 20% on our entrance tickets until Dec 31.

“All our Friends of Entopia members whose membership status has remained active since May 9 this year will be granted an extension of seven months to account for time lost during our temporary closure,” it said.

The management added that they would continue to ensure strict compliance of new normal standard operating procedures and take precautionary measures to curb the spread of Covid-19.

“All our employees are fully vaccinated and ready to provide a safe and worry-free experience to all our visitors. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors back.”
