Rising waters in Klang due to high tide, but no floods reported

COASTAL areas in the Klang district saw rising waters that reached 5.5m due to a high tide at 5.21am on Thursday (Nov 4) as forecast but fishermen and locals living along the coast heaved a sigh of relief as the tide did not coincide with the North-East monsoon rains.

A check by StarMetro found that water levels were ankle-deep at Jalan Syahbandar and Persiaran Raja Muda outside the Port Klang KTM Kommuter station.
