GET into the spirit of Halloween with some thrilling adventure at Sunway Putra Mall, Kuala Lumpur.
Until Oct 31, shoppers will get to experience The Seram Thrills on the ground floor, where exciting activities such as Local Seram House, Seram Spin & Win, and RCB Polo Club Roadshow are available.
The mall has decked up a Local Seram House at the East Wing to resemble an old abandoned house with horrifying outdoor graveyard.
The spooky exterior will have tombstones and skeletons to create an eerie feeling upon entering the exhibition.
There will also be a 3.3m gatekeeper at the entrance welcoming thrill seekers to experience the robust ghost cultures in Malaysia, namely Pontianak, Pocong, Jiangshi and Mohini.
The Local Seram House also aims to be educational.
As shoppers explore the four different sections, they will get a peek into the myths from different cultures.
Apart from that, visit the Insta-worthy photo corners at the Local Seram House, and take part in the Scream to Win Contest from now until Oct 28 to stand a chance to win prizes worth up to RM1,000.
The mall is also rewarding shoppers through Seram Spin & Win, with attractive prizes worth up to RM50,000 up for grabs when shoppers spend a minimum of RM50 in one receipt on the same day at participating outlets.
Sunway Pals members will receive an additional one spin when they redeem a minimum of 50 Pals points at any Pals merchants on the same day.
New sign-ups are also entitled to an additional spin.
Shoppers who participate in Seram Spin & Win will also be in the running for the Grand Lucky Draw, which will see up to five lucky shoppers winning prizes such as iPhone 13 Pro Max, Samsung, Huawei smartphones and shopping vouchers.
Sunway Putra Mall general manager Danny Lee said that according to the Health Ministry, the Klang Valley had reached almost 90% vaccination.
“With most businesses now reopened, the mall is using this occasion to reward our visitors with attractive goodies as a welcome back gift.
“This is also part of our efforts to assist our retailers during their recovery period,” said Lee.
He added that safe shopping was a priority at the mall, which is part of the #SaferCommunityTogether campaign organised by Sunway Malls to encourage a secure experience for everyone.
From now until Oct 31, fully vaccinated shoppers can redeem a #ImVaccinated Fashion ToteBag with goodies that are redeemable exclusively at Sunway Putra Mall’s Concierge Counter.
