Extend duration for feedback on local plan, MBPJ urged

Tan has received feedback from unhappy residents on the unsuitable timing of the RTPJ objections period.

IMPORTANT objections relating to the local plan should not have taken place during the movement control order as people were consumed by worries brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, said Damansara MCA chairman Tan Gim Tuan.

The Petaling Jaya Local Plan 2 (RTPJ) third amendment objection, from April 6 to May 6 this year, took place during the height of the pandemic.
