IN an exhilarating Malaysia Day celebration filled with patriotism and spirit of the ‘Malaysia Family’ concept, over 20 Fire and Rescue Department personnel got together for a drill at the Perak Road fire station in George Town, Penang.

The firefighters participated in activities like abseiling and flying fox, which had them in high spirits as they cheered on one another.Penang Fire and Rescue Department director Saadon Mokhtar said the celebration was held to showcase patriotism, unity and discipline in line with the Malaysia Family concept that was promoted by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
