Ng says members constantly have to deal with misconceptions about the nature of their business.

THE Malaysian Family KTV Association is appealing to the government to allow them to reopen, just like the relaxation given to similar businesses. This follows Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s announcement that cinemas as well as visual and performing arts venues can now open but at 50% capacity.

The association is appealing on the grounds that its sector was allowed to operate last year after the country moved into the conditional movement control order phase.
