Five building sites hit by virus

FIVE construction sites on Penang island have been slapped with stop-work order after over 500 Covid-19 cases were detected at the sites.

Penang Island City Council (MBPP) mayor Datuk Yew Tung Seang said the sites ordered closed by the Health Ministry were located in the northeast district (three) and southwest district (two).
