SEVERAL youths in Penang took the day off from work to get their vaccine now that 10 vaccination centres (PPVs) in the state are open for walk-ins.
Among them was Alex Hong, who was waiting patiently in line to receive his first dose of vaccine at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre PPV in Bayan Lepas.
Hong immediately applied for leave at his workplace after learning about the walk-in programme.
