Association gives assistance worth RM300,000

Johor Baru Tiong-Hua Association has donated about RM300,000 to worthy causes, with more than half the amount channelled towards education.

Association president Ho Sow Tong said RM159,264 was given for educational purposes, including helping 182 underprivileged students from 19 Chinese vernacular schools and 102 students from Foon Yew High School.
