Selangor’s integrated water supply scheme southern corridor project slated for completion in mid-2023, says Hee

THE integrated water supply scheme (IWSS) southern corridor project, which is expected to solve the water shortage issues in Kajang, Semenyih and Beranang, will be completed in mid-2023.

Selangor tourism, environment, green technology and indigenous affairs committee chairman Hee Loy Sian said the RM225mil project, funded by a consortium of new property developers in the area, would enable water to be channelled from the Langat 2 Water Treatment Plant (WTP) into the townships.
