No plans to replace food baskets with cash idea for Covid-19 aid, says Selangor exco

THE state government has no plans to replace food baskets with cash for Covid-19 aid packages distributed under the Pakej Kita Selangor programme, says state Rural Development, Village Traditions, Malay Customs, Culture and Heritage committee chairman Borhan Aman Shah.

"It is a good idea as it will enable recipients to make their own choices when it comes to the purchase of daily necessities," said Borhan in reply to a question raised by Datuk Rizam Ismail (BN-Sungai Tawar).
