THE proposed Kulim International Airport (KXP) project in Kuala Muda, Kedah, is sited along the Sungai Muda banks and must not put at risk the water supply of Penang and southern Kedah, said Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP).
PBAPP chief executive officer Datuk Jaseni Maidinsa warned that the project’s environmental impact assessment (EIA) report revealed that the airport might contaminate Sungai Muda.
