Chinese schools step up to task of helping needy students

CHINESE independent schools in Johor have taken the initiative to assist students from less privileged families to ensure their studies are not disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pei Hwa High School principal Chen Yeok Ling said the school in Muar had raised some RM60,000 to date to help needy students with their tuition fees.
