Traffic smooth despite easing of restrictions for the fully vaccinated

ALTHOUGH the inter-district travel ban has been lifted for those fully vaccinated, Penangites remain wary of the rising Covid-19 cases with no spike in traffic volume along the highway to and from the Penang Bridge.

A check along the North-South highway and the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway showed the traffic flow was normal, although there was a slight increase in volume during the peak hours yesterday morning.
