THE Selangor Environment Standing Committee has decided to issue temporary occupancy licences to farmers in the "Green Revolution" area of Johan Setia to regulate their activities.
Tourism, Environment, Green Technology and Indigenous Affairs committee chairman Hee Loy Sian said the decision was made after a meeting with various state and Federal agencies as a proactive measure to stop open burning, illegal dumping and illegal occupancy on state reserve land.
