Buses turned into mobile PPVs despatched to suburbs

A temporary shelter put up for the mobile vaccination programme at SK Sri Aman.

RESIDENTS of Kampung Melayu, Ayer Itam in Penang excitedly waited under a shelter at the compound of SK Sri Aman for their turn to receive their first dose of vaccination against Covid-19 inside a Rapid Penang bus which was modified into a mobile Covid-19 vaccination centre (PPV).

The stationary bus parked in the compound of the school was regularly sanitised inside and outside by volunteers to reduce airborne contaminants, including viruses.
