Single mum sells rice dumplings to raise six kids

Law attended a workshop to learn how to make rice dumplings after losing her job due to the pandemic. Her six young children have only two devices to share for their online classes.

EVER since her husband died five years ago, life has been exceptionally tough for Law Siew Khim, 45, as she has to raise her six children, aged between seven and 15, on her own.

Back in 2016, Law had to exchange her housewife’s apron for odd-jobs that could earn enough money to bring food on the table for her family of three daughters and three sons.
