Youth organisation goes extra mile to address real-life struggles of needy

IN 2016, a group of university students decided to hit the streets of Kuala Lumpur to distribute basic necessities to the homeless, just to give back to society although they did not have much themselves.

Called HungerHurts, its 25 members were bent on reducing Malaysia’s poverty rate through the power of youth, said Nabil Nazmi, who now leads the group.
