PENANG hotels are showing interest in temporarily transforming into low-risk Covid-19 quarantine and treatment centres to ensure that their operations remain intact during the pandemic.

State tourism and creative economy committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin said the state had received a number of enquiries from hotels expressing interest in transforming into quarantine centres.
