PASAR Besar Meru in Jalan Meru and three other smaller markets in Klang are undergoing daily washing and sanitation works, as well as scheduled shutdown for disinfection, as part of efforts to ensure the safety of traders and consumers.
Klang Municipal Council (MPK) president Dr Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin said the municipality’s Wet Market Unit was coordinating the tedious work to wash and sanitise all four markets every day.
