THE BAN on dining in has resulted in another round of losses for steamboat and Korean barbecue restaurants in Penang.
Ching Wei Siong, manager of a Korean barbecue restaurant in Karpal Singh Drive, said the latest movement control order (MCO) would cause a revenue loss of more than 75% as the outlet mainly offered barbecues plus grilled and cooked dishes with a lot of side dishes for dine-in patrons.
