WITH closing time at 8pm now, at least five major night markets on Penang island will be closed temporarily until further notice.

It is learnt that only the ones in Tanjung Bungah (Tuesday) and Bandar Baru Ayer Itam (Wednesday) will remain open with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) in place during the movement control order (MCO) 3.0.
