Quit rent payment deadline extended

Wan Rosdy hopes the extension will provide enough time for landowners to settle payment.

THE 2021 quit rent payment period for all registered landowners in Pahang has been extended to Aug 31 in view of the movement control order (MCO).

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said that due to the extension from the original deadline of May 31, the late payment fine of 10% of the value of quit rent would be imposed only from Sept 1.
