TROPICANA Gardens Mall (TGM), a subsidiary of Tropicana Corporation Bhd, teamed up with the group’s charity arm, Tropicana Foundation, in extending support to frontliners, especially food delivery riders.
TGM aims to distribute a total of 1,000 packs of bubur lambuk over 20 days, until May 12.
The delicacy, prepared by Tropicana Golf and Country Resort’s executive chef, was the organisation’s way of saying thank you to frontliners for their hard work and dedication.
TGM managing director Andrew Ashvin and his team handed out the food packs at the kerbside, which is the concourse floor drop-off area.
“Staying true to our Tropicana mantra, we aim to redefine the art of living by providing a wholesome neighbourhood mall where our community can live, shop, relish and relax.
“To date, we have recorded a 68% take-up rate and we are so thankful for the support from our tenants, shoppers and the unsung heroes — the food delivery riders, who wait patiently at the front of our mall to deliver or pick up food orders.
“Many of them are unable to return to their hometowns as the interstate travel restrictions are still in effect.
“So, we decided to give them a little taste of kampung with our signature Tropicana bubur lambuk.”
TGM, located between Kota Damansara and Tropicana Indah, is the largest neighbourhood mall in the vicinity.
Spanning approximately 1 million sq ft, it consists of seven floors and about 300 stores.
Strategically connected to the Surian MRT station, TGM features a unique mix of lifestyle, dining and entertainment brands.
Residents at the luxury serviced apartments of Arnica, Bayberry, Cyperus, Dianthus and Edelweiss enjoy the amenities and facilities below at the mall.
