Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) is revising its budget upwards by RM13mil this year and has incorporated several strategies to boost revenue.
MPS president Shamsul Shahril Badliza Mohd Noor said this would bring the total budget to RM212mil, from the previous amount of RM199mil that was allocated for this year.
“Although we are still feeling the effects from the Covid-19 pandemic, we have relooked at some aspects of revenue collection and adjusted accordingly.
