A WELFARE home for the elderly in Batu Maung, Penang, is seeking help from well-wishers after it was requested to relocate by the state Welfare Department.
Persatuan Penganut Thiru Arut Prakasa Vallalar secretary Vasudavan Sinaiyah, 63, said the current place was found to be unsuitable as it did not conform to regulations on homes for senior citizens set by the Welfare and Fire and Rescue Departments.
