SELAYANG Municipal Council (MPS) has issued 87,799 notices to those with outstanding assessment tax since Feb 28 and plans to take stern action against errant ratepayers.
MPS president Shamsul Shahril Badliza Mohd Noor said warrant of attachments — which gives council officers the authority to seize any movable property — would be issued from April 16 to those who still had outstanding amounts.
