Face mask donations worth RM400,000 to benefit needy


Caring Pharmacy and Neutrovis personnel handing over 200,000 pieces of face masks to St John Ambulans Malaysia — Kawasan Pantai Selangor Haemodialysis Centre.

THE manufacturer of Neutrovis face masks, along with Caring Pharmacy, donated 400,000 three-ply face masks worth RM280,000 to Yayasan Sin Chew and another 200,000 pieces worth RM120,000 to St John Ambulans Malaysia – Kawasan Pantai Selangor Haemodialysis Centre.

The donated masks will be distributed to frontliners and those in need by Yayasan Sin Chew while

St John Ambulans Malaysia – Kawasan Pantai Selangor will provide the masks to patients at its haemodialysis centre.

With communities and economies worldwide affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, Caring Pharmacy stands with the global community to help combat the spread of the virus and ease the economic hardships of the most-impacted communities.

“Through this donation of face masks, we aim to ease the burden of those in need in our community, ” said Caring Pharmacy marketing director Loo Jooi Leng.

Neutrovis managing director Zayn Pua called on everyone to adhere to the government’s standard operating procedures, including the proper use of face masks, to curb the spread of Covid-19.
