CLEANING the streets will now be easier and safer for Penang Island City Council (MBPP) workers now that they can use the new all-terrain litter vacuum.

Council public health and licensing committee alternate chairman Nicholas Theng said the vacuum would make it easier to clean small nooks especially during the dry season when leaves tend to dry and disintegrate.
