Spreading festive cheer with buy and win contest

IN conjunction with the upcoming Year of the Ox, Yakult (M) Sdn Bhd will hold a buy and win contest to reward its loyal consumers.

The festive contest, from Jan 15 to Feb 14, is open to all Malaysians.

Cash and prizes worth more than RM11,000 are waiting to be won by lucky entrants.

Follow three easy steps to join the contest:

> Purchase a minimum of RM18 of any Yakult product in a single receipt from any retail outlet, online store or through Yakult Lady, Home Delivery Service nationwide.

> Take a clear photo or screenshot of the official receipt/e-receipt.

> WhatsApp +6011-5858 9784 the receipt picture and provide details (full name as per MyKad, MyKad number and mailing address).

For every purchase of at least RM18 in a single receipt, participants are entitled to one entry.

Every purchase will increase the number of entries.

With each eligible entry sent, participants can redeem one set of Yakult exclusive ang pow packets (while stocks last).

Participants also stand a chance to win weekly lucky draw prizes and grand prizes during the contest period.

They are encouraged to submit as many entries as possible to stand a higher chance to win more prizes.

Seven eligible entrants will be chosen weekly through a computer-generated system to grab a Touch ‘n Go e-wallet reload worth RM88.

Three eligible entrants with the most entries throughout the contest period will walk away with the grand prize of RM2,888 cash.

“This year, we hope to bring a little cheer to all our loyal supporters through this contest, ” said Yakult managing director Hiroshi Hamada.

“We also want to take this opportunity to encourage Malaysians to maintain a healthy gut through regular consumption of probiotics, because 70% of immunity lies in the gut. So, it’s important to keep our gut strong.”

Besides the buy and win contest, Yakult has also released its Chinese New Year campaign video titled Miles Apart, But Close at Heart which will be aired on Astro Chinese channels, YouTube and Yakult’s social media platforms from mid-January onwards.

“The video is about a nurse who works far from her hometown but due to the pandemic, she is not able to celebrate Chinese New Year with her family.

“Although the family are far apart, they still cherish the festive moments together virtually with Yakult drinks.

“We hope watching this video will remind all of us to always cherish family, no matter where we are and what situation we are in, ” he said.

Yakult probiotic drinks are consumed daily by 40 million people in 40 countries worldwide for their good bacteria of the Shirota strain, which is scientifically proven to help in improving the function of the gut, where the immune system resides.
