Family eager to move into PPR unit next month

SECURITY guard S. Paner Selvam is looking forward to some good home-cooked food by his wife when the couple and their three children move into a People’s Housing Project (PPR) unit in Rifle Range, Penang, by next month.

For the past two years, Paner Selvam, 38, his wife S. Kogilavani, 39, and their children aged four, two and nine months old have been living in a shoe-box room in a premises which is also occupied by 28 other tenants in Jalan Utama.
