KOTA KINABALU: The RM11.26mil federal funding for the Heart of Borneo (HoB) conservation initiative has earned the thumbs up from state Tourism, Culture and Environment Assistent Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai.

He said the HoB initiative had provided Sabah with a framework for state wide sustainable development plans wherein new protected areas had increased the overall connectivity in Sabah’s networks of forests.
