THE Housing and Local Government Ministry is urged to reconsider the criteria to apply for a People’s Housing Project (PPR) unit, particularly the requirement for both husband and wife to be Malaysians.

“The PPR programme is a social safety net for the poorest in our communities, by providing a housing unit for those who cannot afford to buy or rent on the open market, ” said Bukit Gasing assemblyman Rajiv Rishyakaran.
