AMAN Central in Alor Setar, Kedah, has launched its fifth anniversary campaign -- Wonderful 5.0 -- through digital initiatives with four of Malaysia’s top fashion designers with an aim to contribute to charity.

The campaign, virtually launched at the mall’s GSC cineplex on Oct 30, is much different from those of previous years due to restrictions caused by the pandemic.

This approach to virtually launch the campaign is to keep shoppers safe and at the same time enable them to be part of the Wonderful 5.0 campaign.

“In the spirit of sharing and in light of the current situation, the campaign’s objective is to drive retail sales.

“To show gratitude to our loyal customers, we organised a celebration that represents us, the ‘Aman Central Wonderful 5.0 Charity’ programme.

“Four exclusive limited edition scarf designs by fashion designers Seth & Luna, YT Label, Wan & Mary and Syafieq Ayman from Malaysia are available for purchase, ” said marketing communications senior manager Ken Chin.

Interested parties can buy these limited edition scarves at RM89.90 and an exclusively designed tote bag (RM55.50) with proceeds to be channelled to charity homes with cooperation from the office of Mentri Besar Kedah Incorporated (MBI Kedah).

The items are available for purchase at Aman Central’s concierge counter at the ground floor as well as through official social media platforms and website.

Shoppers are also required to spend RM300 and above in two combined receipts at any outlet to be entitled to one form for a contest running from now until Feb 28.

“Prizes will include exclusive merchandise, trendy handbags, branded watches, fitness and wellness products, travel luggage, cookies and a Mitsubishi Xpander sports utility vehicle as the grand prize.

“It has always been Aman Central’s commitment to work closely with retailers and home-grown brands to improve the shopping and entertainment experience, resulting in higher sales performance.

“Despite the pandemic, we aim to maintain our position as the leading lifestyle mall in the northern region.

“We are constantly striving to produce new value-added offerings.

“In this last quarter, we have welcomed Chunz, Matador, Texas Chicken, Yees Yogurt, Innisfree and San Francisco Coffee as our new tenants, ” he added.

“We have embraced the new normal by ensuring a tight standard of physical distancing with regular checks, periodic cleaning and enhanced screening with safety checks.

“We want to assure shoppers of our commitment to keep them safe so that they are able to shop with peace of mind, ” he said.
