SOGO’s Jom Balik Kampung car contest, now in its seventh year, upped the stakes of the annual campaign, with one lucky grand-prize winner driving away with a Honda HR-V 1.8L E.
The contest, which took place from March until Aug 31, was held in conjunction with the department store’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration to reward Sogo’s loyal customers.
Jointly organised by Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet), the contest was open to all cardholders of MyDebit Automated Teller Machine for purchases made in Sogo stores.
This year’s contest received an overwhelming response with 70,000 entries, almost double from last year.
Raja Muhammad Azryn Shah Raja Iskandar, from Johor, emerged as the grand-prize winner.
Two others, Nur Amalina
Hazri and Nur Deelaila Harunizam took home Sogo Gift Card’s worth RM8,000 and RM5,000 respectively.
