JOHOR BARU: It was a low-key Deepavali celebration at temples in Johor Baru this year as devotees and temple committees adhered strictly to the standard operating procedures (SOP) against Covid-19.
Sri Subramaniar temple chairman K. Arumugan said the festive atmosphere could still be felt on Deepavali day although the celebration was kept simple this year.
