MIRI: Sarawak Forest Department (JHS) becomes the first government agency in the country to use an advanced technology aerial system with the launch of Sarawak Aerial Detection Unit (Sadu).

Mounted on a DA42-MPP light aircraft, Sadu, which is manned by a special technical work team led by unit head Dr Affendi Suhaili, will provide air geospatial data services based on hyperspectral technology to monitor and manage the state’s natural resources.
