Selayang Municipal Council closed for a day after worker tests positive for Covid-19

PETALING JAYA: The Selayang Municipal Council was shut on Friday (Nov 6), for just a day, for disinfection works.

This comes after a council worker was tested positive on Nov 5.

However, the staff member has been working from home since Oct 22 since the conditional movement control order (MCO) was implemented.

Based on a statement by the council, the worker did not serve as a frontliner and was not in close contact with the public.

“Members of the public do not have to panic over this case, ” said the council spokesman.
